How To Unlock HTC Desire Eye – AT&T, T-mobile, Rogers, etc. Unlock HTC

What is up guys? Khristian here from Unlock River, and in today’s video, I’m going to show you how to unlock HTC Desire Eye, so that you can use it worldwide with any GSM sim card. So I just got this phone from AT&T. It is currently locked to AT&T, but I want to unlock it to use it with my T-Mobile sim card as you can see here. So in order to do this, we need to unlock it, and it is very, very simple. I’m going to show you how to do it step-by-step, okay. So all you need is your computer with an Internet connection, and your new sim card you want to use your phone with, and that’s all you’re going to need. Now, we’re going to follow a couple of steps. Unfortunately, this method is not free. There is no possible way to unlock an HTC phone for free, but trust me guys, it is worth every penny to have your phone fully factory unlocked to use it worldwide. With that said, let’s begin. So we’re going to start by opening the phone application just as if you were dialing a call or something, and you’re going to type the following command. You type star, hash, zero, six, hash. So as you will see, your 15-digit IME number will appear. This is a very, very important number, and based on this number, we’re going to request the unlock code to unlock this phone. So just make sure you keep it somewhere close or you write it down somewhere because we’re going to need it later. So for now, we’re going to put it here to the side, and we’re going to open our Internet browser, I use Google Chrome, and we’re going to go to the website unlockriver.com. On this website, we just need to fill in information of our phone, and we will be able to unlock it. So remember, this will also work for any other HTC. All right, so we’re going to start first off by selecting the original carrier. So just make sure you’re selecting the carrier that your phone is currently locked to. In this case, my phone is locked to AT&T, so I’m going to select that one. The next step is to select the brand of your phone, of course, HTC, and then you have to select the exact model. So we’re going to look here for the exact model, HTC Desire Eye, so I’m going to select that one, all right, and the following step is one of the most important steps. Here you have to enter your 15-digit IME number. Remember, we got this at the beginning of the video, so just make sure you write it down here. It must be 100% correct, so just make sure you write it down correctly. The next step is to write down your personal email where you want to receive your unlock code, so also make sure it is right because they will send your unlock code to this email. Now if you scroll down, you will see an average delivery time and the price to unlock your phone. The price and delivery time varies depending on your phone’s brand, carrier, and model, so that’s what your carrier charges to unlock your phone. We’re going to click unlock now. Now on the following screen, just make sure you read everything here. There is important information you need to consider before unlocking your phone, and once you have read everything, we’re going to click where it says checkout with PayPal. As I promised, I’m going to do it in front of you step-by-step, so I’m just going to proceed to the payment here. If you don’t have a PayPal account, don’t worry, you can always click here where it says create a PayPal account or just use any other method of payment. I do have a PayPal account, so I’m just going to log in quickly, and it’s going to take 10 seconds to place my order. It’s going to be really, really quick, I promise. All right, so I’m just going to click where it says Pay Now, and that’s it. The order went through, I think. Thanks for your order, and we’re going to get a confirmation message. As you can see here, it says thank you for your order, and they will send you your unlock code to your email, so this can take one hour. It can take 30 minutes. It can take 10 minutes. It can take up to one day. It depends on every case. So I’m going to show you my personal email. We’re going to go to my Gmail account, and you will see this email I just got from Unlock River. It says your HTC unlock code is ready. Remember, it can take up to one day, so be very patient. So it says your unlock code is ready, step-by-step instructions on how to insert unlock code, and, of course, the most important part, the unlock code. All right, so we’re going to insert the unlock code into the phone. So once you have received your unlock code, you’re going to go to your phone; you’re going to power off completely; so we’re just going to click where it says power off. Once your phone is fully off, you can insert your new sim card. So in this case, my phone is locked to AT&T, so I’m going to use a different sim card, one from T-Mobile or any other carrier. So I’m going to insert my new sim card into my HTC phone here. So let me just go ahead and insert it, and once your new sim card is in, you’re going to power on the phone. So I just press and hold the power on button here. It’s going to take a couple of seconds until the phone is fully on, and once it’s on, it will detect that you have inserted a non-accepted sim card. So once it detects that, you will have to insert the lock code you received in your email. So you will see this message sim network unlock pin. So we’re going to go ahead and insert the unlock code here, 3-6-2-3-0-3-3-1. We’re going to hit okay, and you will see a success message if the code was successfully entered, successfully unlocked from the network, now rebooting. That’s it guys. It is as simple as that. We’re going to click okay, and the phone will reboot, and once the phone is back on again, it will detect your new carrier because your phone is now fully factory unlocked. So that’s it guys. That’s the way you unlock an HTC phone, and it should work with any other carrier in the world. Thank you for watching my video. If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments below.
