Install Android 6.0 Marshmallow on OnePlus One (CyanogenMod 13.0)


Hey, What’s going on guys? Daveen Here. Today I’m going to show you how to install Android 6.00 Marshmallow on your OnePlus One. This rom is a unofficial build of Cyanogenmod 13.0 this is a nightly ROM which means
this is not suitable for a daily driver. they’re gonna be lots of bugs that’s
going to be fixed within the coming months but until then this is not going
to be a stable Rom. If you still want the ROM, just follow these steps. Make sure you have a custom recovery, if you don’t have a custom recovery for example CWM (ClockworkMod) or TWRP or any other custom recovery you you guys can’t install this custom ROM on
the device so I’ll leave some links in the description below where you guys can
learn how to install a custom recovery custom recovery on your device. So if you are ready, lets go ahead and get started. Head over to XDA website, I’ll have a link in description below. You can access this website from a computer or a… your phone. Today i’m going to be using
my computer to access the web site and download the files and transfer them to
my phone but you guys can directly use your phone and download the files. Once you are at the XDA website, scroll down until you see “Downloads” then ROM. Click to hide the content
or click to show the content you should see these two links click on
whichever you want. I’m going to choose the first one and as you can see these are all the files click on
the first one and you guys can also check the date of which it had been uploaded. This is the newest file and click direct download. Save it wherever you want, on your desktop or your documents. You are going to be Transferring these files to your phone. There is one more file that you need to download you guys should see Google Apps, click on the link and you guys should head over to this website “AndroidFileHost.com”
so once you are at this website this is the first link so this is the first file and it has the date you can check the day. Click on the link, click “Begin Download” just wait a few moments, and you should see see this primary download , click on download or anything underneath. Save it to the same place as the ROM. So once the files have been downloaded. Transfer them from your computer to your device (OnePlus One). Transfer them from your computer to your OnePlus One. I am using “Android File Transfer” on Mac You can also use on Windows, the Windows file manager, and transfer the files to your device. I’m going to create a new folder, and name it “Cm 13” so I’m going to drag the two files the
ROM and the GApps in to the CM 13 folder Head over to your OnePlus One and unplug it from the computer. Now we are going to enter the custom recovery. recovery on your OnePlus One, to do that Hold down the power button and press
power off. Now it’s gonna shut down your OnePlus One as you can see it vibrated, which means it’s has shut down. To enter the Custom Recovery, Custom Recovery, hold on to the Volume Down button
and the power button at the same time. As soon as the phone vibrates, let go of the power button but keep holding on to the volume down button. I’ll have more instructions in the description below. Let’s hold down the volume down button and the power button. After the phone vibrates, let go of the power button and keep holding on to the volume down button You can now let go of the volume down button after a few seconds. Wait till your phone enters the custom recovery. Once the phone has entered the custom recovery, we are going to back up the device, just in case something happens to your phone. and then we are going to wipe everything from your phone. Before we begin this process, I want to let you know that there is a chance you might lose your data. there is chance you might lose your data, so make sure you back up your data, photos, documents Your photos onto a computer or external
drive. Right now we are going to backup your device. If you are using TWRP, you can tap on “Backup” This should be the same/ similar process on CWM (ClockWorkMod) This should be the same/ similar process on CWM (ClockWorkMod) So once you are on this page, tap on these four, if you want to enable compression you can do that. You can also encrypt your backup with
a password. So if you are ready… swipe to the right and it going to start backing up your device. This will take few minutes if you have a lot of data on your device. My OnePlus One has been backup Now we are going to Wipe, the current version of Android from the OnePlus One. To do that, tap on “Wipe” Tap on “Wipe”, and then “Advanced Wipe”, now tap on “Dalvik Cache”, “System”, “Data”, “Cache” If you tap on “Internal Storage”, it’s going to delete everything from Photos, Documents, Music, and everything else. even the two files you transfer from your computer (Downloads) Which you don’t want to do. Tap only “Dalvik Cache”, “System”, “Data”, “Cache”. Once you have tapped on those four, Swipe to the right. It didn’t take that long. Press Back. Press the Home Button. We are now going to install Android 6.0 Marshmallow on the OnePlus One. Tap on “Install” Go back to the folder, where you transferred the files to. My files are in “Cm 13”, and as you can see these are the files. First Install the ROM, CM13.0 .zip. This file up here. Swipe to the right, and it going to flash the ROM on to your device. This is going to take a few minutes So the ROM has been flashed successfully, and as you can see it says “Successful” *When you are at this page, it should say “Home”, “Wipe Cache”, “Reboot System”. cache and dalvik to swipe to the right
now Press Back, and Press Back again. You should be back at the folder. GApps allows you to install Google Play Store on your device. Tap on it and Swipe to the right. The file has been *flashed. Again, “Wipe Cache/Dalvik”. Press back and now you can reboot your system. It’s going to take a few minutes to install all the apps. After it’s done, I’ll come back and show you what to do next. Once all the apps have been installed, you should come to this page. Once you are done setting up your phone, you should now have Android 6.0 Marshmallow on your OnePlus One. Let’s go and see. Let’s head over to settings. About Phone. As you can see it displays “Android 6.0” Here is the Marshmallow logo. So that’s how to install Android 6.0 Marshmallow on your OnePlus One.   3. problems with conection to phone operator… its turning off every 10 seconds. Downloaded two versions> last one was 26 may 2016

    I have install the update on my one plus one and from the time of installation and now my phone is not working its rebooting again and again and unable to wake it up in any condition.
    Please suggest some solution to recover from this problem.
