  2. Google hat das Problem, dass sie ausschließlich identische Belichtungen kombinieren. Deshalb sind die Schatten nicht so gut (das Pixel 4 scheint ab und zu lila Schatten zu produzieren), wobei es auch teils an der Bildverarbeitung liegt, denn ältere Google Smartphones (z.B. Nexus 5x im HDR+ An Modus oder Pixel 2) scheinen wohl auch bei ähnlicher Belichtungszeit teils bessere Schattenbereiche zu haben. Apple kombiniert unterschiedliche Belichtungen, das lehnt Google bislang ab, weil das laut Google zu mehr Problemen mit Doppelbildern, Artefakten, etc führen könnte, das hat Google zumindest vor paar Jahren gesagt.

  3. Leider hat Google die Weißabgleichpresets entfernt. Nach dem, was ich gesehen hab, hatten vorherige Google Smartphones einen besseren Weißabgleich und hatten eben auch noch die Weißabgleichpresets. Den Weißabgleich mittels der Farben von bekannten Objekten über Maschinenlernen zu bestimmen, halte ich für Unsinn. Schließlich kann auch ein Mensch den Weißabgleich nicht genau erraten und kann ebenfalls ziemlich daneben liegen, wenn er nicht gleichzeitig direkt auf die reale Szene schaut. Bei Apple finde ich den Weißabgleich auch sehr schlecht, weil der oft viel zu gelblich ist.
